My name is Krishna Iyer and I work at Emergency Management Victoria helping with emergencies across Australia. Since childhood, I have always had a keen interest in capturing beauty, be it landscape, people, food or sports. As I grew up, this fascination inspired me to join like-minded people every now and then doing road trips, portrait walks and photography workshops. I have also done quite a lot of early morning and late evening shots at various locations capturing the scenic side of Australia.

I was once at a family wedding where I happened to closely watch a professional photographer in action. I was intrigued by the nuances of the work involved and the transformation of a simple snap into a masterpiece that gets framed forever! And guess what, that’s when I realised how fulfilling and uplifting this could be. I then gradually developed my skills in photo editing. I was over the moon to learn that my favourite pastime could actually be my bread and butter.

Soon, I earned a professional degree in photography. Over the years, I have developed an expertise in fashion – working with designers to showcase their creations and family portraits – to capture memorable moments and private events including corporate shoots. My ideology is simple! I believe in the concept of honest and realistic photos - a moment can be preserved just as it happened, with all its beauty, complexity and genuinity there on show.

I love shooting at various indoor and outdoor locations such as the comfort of your own home, at our studio, party halls, commercial venues or natural settings like beaches, gardens, etc. I specialise in capturing stills in natural daylight as well as controlled light settings at the studio.
